2.15 Image Resizer
- ImageCool Image Resizer allows you to easily resize multi-images or photos in batches.
- Please follow the steps below:
1. Open Image Resizer dialog: Choose menu item "Tools > Image Resizer"
2. Drag and drop your photos from Windows Explorer onto the preview box or list box, and select the files which you want to process in batches.
3. Choose a resizing mode, there are 3 resizing modes: Standard Size, Customizing Size and Size Reference.
Standard Size: There are 3 size goups in this mode: Screen Resolution, Photo Print Size and Common Paper Size.
Customizing Size: You can enter the new sizes in Pixel, MM or Inch unit manually. You can also enter the new sizes in the percentage of the original size.
Notes:
If you have chosen "Width-First (Preserve Aspect Ratio)" option, you can not resize your photoes by entering Height value. Otherwise, if you have chosen "Height-First (Preserve Aspect Ratio)" option, you can not resize your photoes by entering Width value.
Size Reference: ImageCool will get the new sizes from an existed file you specified.
4. Choose or Enter a new size for resizing.
5. Choose Resizing Options.
Resize Directly:
Resize images with normal method.
Crop Big Images & Add Margin for Small Images:
ImageCool will crop the images which are bigger than the new size both in width and height, and ImageCool will add margins in the images which are smaller than the new size both in width and height.
Skip Small Images: ImageCool will skip the images which are smaller than the new size both in width and height.
Skip Big Images: ImageCool will skip the images which are bigger than the new size both in width and height.
Skip Landscape ( Width >= Height ) Images: Don't resize landscape images.
Skip Portrait ( Width < Height ) Images: Don't resize portrait images.
Width-First (Preserve Aspect Ratio): Change width firstly, and the height will be get with (width * Aspect Ratio)
Height-First (Preserve Aspect Ratio): Change height firstly, and the width will be get with (height * Aspect Ratio)
Don't Preserve Aspect Ratio: Change width and height directly.
Rotate options: ImageCool will rotate the image after being resized.
Other Functions or Options:
1. "Apply Respective Parameters for Each Image" option
If you tick this option, it means that ImageCool will use respective parameters for each image. You can set respective parameters for each image, and ImageCool will use the last parameters for a new image which has not been set.
If you uncheck the option,
ImageCool will apply the current parameters to all the selected images even if you have set parameters for them. It is useful to resize multi-photos in batches.
- 2. "Apply to Current Image" function
ImageCool will apply current parameters to current image and save to disk.
- 3. "Apply to Selected Images" function
ImageCool will apply parameters to each image and save to disk. If you uncheck the "Apply Respective Parameters for Each Image" option, ImageCool will apply the current parameters to all the selected images even if you have set parameters for them.
4. Resize images by the mouse
You can resize current image by dragging the coordinate lines, and ImageCool will switch to Customizing Size mode automatically. If you drag the horizontal coordinate lines, ImageCool will choose Height-First (Preserve Aspect Ratio) option automatically, and if you drag the vertical coordinate lines, ImageCool will choose Width-First (Preserve Aspect Ratio) option automatically.
